Can my doctor take care of me at Superior Care Home?

Yes. Doctors are encouraged to follow their patients here. We ask that physicians become credentialed by Superior Care Home to streamline your care experience. We have round-the-clock nurse practitioners who will work closely with your physician/surgeon to ensure continuity of care throughout your stay.

Your family and/or friends are encouraged to provide transportation to appointments. If they are unable to do so or don’t have a vehicle that can accommodate your specific needs (i.e., a wheelchair), we can arrange for the Paducah Area Transit System (PATS) to provide your transportation.

Yes, there are many private rooms with en suite bathrooms. There are also shared rooms.

Each room comes with Wi-Fi and a flat-screen television with cable.

You will have several options to choose from for each of three balanced gourmet meals plus snacks, all planned by our registered dietician, executive chef, and culinary team. If a visitor would like to dine with you, a ticket may be purchased from our receptionist. Visitors may also bring in meals and snacks during your stay. Please check with the dietician for any restrictions.

Family members and friends are welcome to visit at any time. The main entrance is open from 8 am–5 pm. Our nursing staff will enter a secure access code to open our Midtown door for your visitors who arrive after hours.

Superior Care Home is pet-friendly. We ask that health records be presented prior to your furry friend’s visit. Please ask Social Services for more information.

You may leave for day visits if you have physician and therapist approval; however, you are not permitted to stay away overnight.

What social programs are available?

Our Social Events programs are designed to help you stay active, engaged, and in good spirits. Activities include music therapy, art therapy, reading, storytelling, pet therapy, memory activities, church services, and more. A calendar listing daily activities will be posted in your room.

If you require rehabilitation therapy, our highly qualified physical, occupational and speech therapy teams will assist you with your rehab goals. Our experienced staff can also provide restorative nursing and cognitive therapy to maintain your current level of function, strength, and mobility.

Yes, the staff at Superior Care Home is specially trained to help residents with memory or other cognitive challenges wherever needed. Residents also have the option of living in a special memory care neighborhood, if appropriate.

Yes! A full-service salon is available by appointment. A member of your care team will be happy to help you schedule a time.
