Located in the serene Paducah Commerce Park on Hwy 62, Superior Care Home’s memory care neighborhood is designed for residents in need of a nurturing, homelike, safe, and engaging environment. Our comprehensive program is offered in a peaceful and secure setting with the following amenities:

Our interdisciplinary care team provides an individualized and comprehensive care plan, sensitive to your loved one’s specific needs. Maintaining staff continuity ensures familiarity between residents and their care team.

The Care Team

Nurse Practitioners with extensive backgrounds in physical medicine, rehabilitation, cardiology, and internal medicine are on staff 24 hours a day to meet your medical needs. They work closely with your referring physician/surgeon to ensure continuity of care.

Therapy

  • Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants help you achieve your recovery goals, including strength, balance, mobility, and endurance.
  • Occupational Therapists help you achieve maximum independence with daily activities, enhance strength and coordination, and the use of adaptive equipment when needed.
  • Speech-Language Pathologists provide individualized programs to treat speech, language, memory, swallowing, and other communication-related conditions.

Nurse Practitioners with extensive backgrounds in dementia care and internal medicine are on staff 24 hours a day to meet your loved one’s social, emotional, and medical needs. They work closely with your referring physician to ensure continuity of care.

Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants are trained to coordinate care plans and medication control, wound care, — whatever is required to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of your loved one.

Social Services provide support for your family member’s psycho-social well-being and manage their individualized care plan.

A psychologist provides counseling and support for residents and family members who are adjusting to life-changing illnesses/diagnoses as needed.

A registered dietician helps coordinate a chef-prepared meal plan, according to your loved one’s specific needs.

Technology for Wellness

Superior Care Home utilizes state-of-the-art technology throughout our community to enhance resident experience and quality of life.

Wi-Fi access allows resident to stay connected, while living at Superior Care Home.

Apple iPods are often used for music therapy in our Lower Town neighborhood.

Apple iPad Air 2 devices are used when needed to facilitate communication between residents and their care team, to ensure that language is never a barrier.

Electronic lift systems are available for individuals who require extra assistance transferring in and out of bed or to the bathroom.

An electronic medical record kiosk allows Superior Care Home’s nursing staff to document resident vitals, medications, and other important health information securely – all at the touch of a button.
